For the purpose of this agreement, the terms “user” and “member” are used interchangeably to mean the person signing up for any Sweet Science Coffee Education course. 

By registering for any course available on this site the user agrees to the following terms and conditions: 

Lifetime access is defined as the time a course is available on this platform in the form it was on the date of the user’s initial sign up. 

Any updates and alterations of content are at the discretion of Sweet Science Coffee Education and do not affect user access. 

Any future price changes based on added features and / or value might be offered as an optional paid upgrade to existing users. Upgrade pricing and applicability are determined by the extent of the value added (e.g. downloadable content for course levels that do not initially include downloads). Members will be notified via email of any such changes and changes will not affect members’ basic access if a paid upgrade is declined.

The initial course fee is not applicable for partial refunds in the future if a course fee is dropping for any reason (e.g. during a promotion).

In the event that a course is discontinued or the business closed, we will make our best effort to provide all affected members with alternative means of accessing or downloading the content for future use. We can not guarantee this however. Users with download access are encouraged to download their study and reference material. 

If a membership has a limited timespan the user will automatically lose access after a given number of days following the first day of sign up. I.e. courses with one year access will expire at midnight on day 365 after sign up. Please note that only the access to the course is removed, the member account itself remains accessible for the user unless the user themselves deletes it. 

If a user wishes to re-enroll in a course they have already taken or upgrade a course they are currently enrolled in to a higher tier, we request that they contact us via email for options. 




Sweet Science Coffee LLC reserves the right to any and all content in its courses, online and in person. Downloading, sharing, copying and the distribution of any content, including but not limited to, videos, study materials, graphs, images, designs and logos or other items relating to brand identity is prohibited. Excluded is content that is available for download to some members and labeled as such. However, downloadable content is still prohibited from copying, sharing and distributing.


Returns and Refunds


Any course might be canceled for any reason for a full refund within 48 hours of sign up. 

Please send an email to [email protected] with a cancellation request. 

Courses that include practice coffee or other physical objects are excluded from returns due to cost incurred for preparation and shipping of those items. Coffee can not be returned.

However, a user may request a delay in shipping if they are unable to begin the course as planned. We will do our best to accommodate if the roaster has not already shipped the coffee.

If a user purchases discounted brew tools from our online store using a member discount and later elects to terminate the course but keep the tools, we reserve the right to charge the difference that was discounted, or deduct it from a refund amount, if applicable. 

Reasons for refunds for courses without physical shipments are evaluated on a case by case basis. Courses are built to work as a whole, therefore, not following through with practice is not a valid reason for a refund. Other excluded reasons include, but are not limited to, problems with internet access, inability to access content due to email settings, browser settings and related issues on the side of the user, a desire to access non-downloadable content offline, outages and temporarily interrupted service on the side of the learning platform we use, lost coffee shipments due to wrong address information.

That said, please do get in touch if any unforeseen circumstances arise. We want you to succeed and will try to work with you as best as possible! Lost coffee will be replaced if it is due to carrier issues or an error on our end.

Edible goods, including but not limited to ColdBrew shots, practice coffee and snacks, are excluded from returns. In the case that a product arrives damaged, please contact us via email with a short description and picture (if applicable) and we will initiate an exchange. Missing or delayed shipments are not a reason for a refund as we are not responsible for the carrier. However, please do contact us in such a case so that we can investigate and/or file a claim. We will do our best to find a solution to remedy the situation for you. Should practice coffee get lost, we will send an exchange so you are able to start your course (please refer to the details about practice coffees above.    




Sweet Science Coffee has to collect certain information in order to fulfill its course obligations. This information consists of full name, email address, shipping address, phone number and payment information via the processing service chosen by the user upon checkout. 

For gift purchases and courses not including physical objects we do not collect a mailing address. 

If a user wishes to join our mailing list they must give that consent via double opt-in. This is an independent step and is not tied to a purchase. 

A subscribed user can elect to unsubscribe from our Newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of every email. This will not affect the users course and account access, they will still receive emails directly related to the course they are enrolled in. 

We do not share or sell any data we collect. Payment data is processed via PCI compliant services Stripe or Paypal, the user can choose their preferred service at checkout. 

Shipping addresses are submitted to our partner roaster for fulfillment of coffee shipments and are deleted after every successful delivery.
